Both teams have struggled this season. The Titans are 1‑11, and the Browns sit at 3‑9. For Cleveland, this game is one of their better remaining chances to salvage a win and build some momentum behind Shedeur Sanders late in the season. For Tennessee, continuing to lose games might be better than winning at this point for NFL Draft purposes.
No matter which team wins this game, a low-scoring game is expected here. Both of these teams have struggled mightily when it comes to moving the ball with any sort of regularity. The total for this game has been set at below 35 points, which implies that there will be some major struggles from the offenses of these teams.
This game features the two most-hyped rookie quarterbacks in the most recent NFL Draft class. Cam Ward was drafted first overall in the last draft, while Shedeur Sanders slipped into the fifth round despite putting up flashy numbers at Colorado. Both will start in this game and will get some important reps for their development here.
The Titans have struggled to sustain offense this season, and that has shown in their quarterback play. I'll lay the points with Cleveland here, but there are surely better options on the board than this game for NFL bettors.
