Chicago Blackhawks vs St. Louis Blues Prediction - 10/15/2025

The Chicago Blackhawks and St. Louis Blues will meet in NHL action on Wednesday night. Both teams got wins in their last games, with the Blackhawks claiming their first victory of the season on Monday night. St. Louis is looking for its third straight win and will try to get it as a heavy favorite tonight. Before this game begins in St. Louis, I break the action down and give you my Blackhawks vs Blues prediction below.
The Blues have some momentum after road victories in both Calgary (4–2) and Vancouver (5–2). Jake Neighbours scored twice in the Calgary game, and rookie Jimmy Snuggerud netted two goals in Vancouver. The Blues lost their first home game of the season to the Minnesota Wild but they have developed some confidence since then and will try to build on it here.
The Blackhawks have struggled to find consistency early in the year. They lost 3–2 to Montreal on a late goal and fell 4–3 in overtime to Boston, both close games that slipped from their grasp. But they did win their most recent game at home against the Utah Mammoth and will try for their second win in a row here.
St. Louis is expected to lean on Jordan Binnington, who has been solid in new in past seasons and will look for his second win of the season tonight. Chicago’s Spencer Knight is 1-2 on the season so far. He has some strong individual numbers, posting a .920 save percentage and a 2.35 GAA, but he needs some help from the group around him if he wants to win more games.
For the Blues, Robert Thomas and Jake Neighbours have been impactful early on. Neighbours has three goals to lead the Blues early in the year and he will try to continue to make an impact with his scoring tonight.
Connor Bedard remains the offensive focal point for Chicago. The supporting cast around him will need to step up, as other players must generate pressure to keep the attention of the Blues defense spread around and not just on Bedard.

The Blues should be able to win at home over the Blackhawks tonight. But Chicago has been competitive in their games so far this season. While I expect St. Louis to get the win here, I am going to take the Blackhawks to cover the puckline in a game that they will keep close.
