Columbus enters this game with two losses in their last three games. Their last 10 games show a 4–4–2 record, indicating they’ve been competitive but have not always been able to close games out. They gave up five goals to the Winnipeg Jets in their last game and will need to turn things around defensively to win this matchup.
Toronto is 9–9–2, and their recent form suggests some volatility. They eked out a 3–2 overtime win over the Blues in their last outing. But they had lost five games in a row before that and will try to avoid being sent back into the loss column here.
