Their ability to deliver in tense situations could be important again in this game. The Penguins are 10‑5‑4 and got a 4-0 shutout win over the Nashville Predators in their last outing.
Pittsburgh’s netminding has been a steadying force, with Arturs Silovs making a strong splash early in the season. He has a 2.44 GAA and has helped the Pens become one of the better defensive teams in the NHL on the year. Minnesota will likely go with Filip Gustavsson, who has been underwhelming with a 2.99 GAA for the year.
