The Wild have been playing well coming into this game, with an overtime victory over the Winnipeg Jets as their latest result, giving them eight wins in their last 10 contests. Kirill Kaprizov and Matthew Boldy have played significant roles, contributing offensively to keep Minnesota competitive. Meanwhile, the Golden Knights struggled through their recent schedule, including a 6‑5 shootout loss to the Colorado Avalanche in their last outing. The Knights have dropped four of their last five games and will try to turn things around on home ice tonight.
The goaltending in this matchup has been strong on both sides going into Monday night.
