The one downfall of the betting options at BetMGM is that they do not offer as much in niche sports as some other sportsbooks. DraftKings Sportsbook is one bookmaker that especially outperforms BetMGM in my sports betting experience.

They do not offer many betting options on more obscure football leagues like the UFL or CFL, or live betting on some of the smaller sports leagues that are given live betting options at other sites. While this is a small complaint, it is something that bettors should keep in mind before placing any bets.

Odds Pricing: Fair Betting Lines When You Wager At BetMGM

All sportsbooks are different when it comes to betting odds. No sportsbook is always going to be better than its competition, as odds are often influenced slightly by the liability on each side of a bet at any individual bookmaker. When it comes to moneylines, my audit of BetMGM compared to other sportsbooks shows that BetMGM is average for the most part both on favorites and underdogs. Some sportsbooks pay out more on underdogs and make you risk more to back favorites, while others pay out less on underdogs and make you risk less on favorites. BetMGM offers a balance of both of those approaches, but their prices tend not to be worse than their competition from what I've seen in my betting experience.
