The Hamilton Tiger-Cats will make a trip to Winnipeg for a Week 17 CFL matchup against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday. The Tiger-Cats are currently atop the East Division and will try to solidify their postseason standing. The Blue Bombers are in the thick of a playoff race out west and can’t afford slip-ups at home. Hamilton enters with Bo Levi Mitchell leading the offense. In Week 16, he completed 28 of 40 passes for 311 yards and delivered two touchdowns with one interception. BLM is leading the CFL in passing yards coming into Week 17. He has eight interceptions and will need to avoid more to give his team the best chance to win here.
Winnipeg’s quarterback picture has been more volatile. Zach Collaros has missed time due to suspension and injuries this season. He is expected to return from an absence from a head injury in this game, as he has been taking first-team snaps in practice again. Chris Streveler was not a suitable replacement for Collaros for the most part, and Winnipeg will try to welcome its starter back without missing a beat.

This is going to be a tight game as far as I'm concerned. I lean toward Hamilton getting the better of Winnipeg in a close one. The Tiger-Cats’ passing offense gives them a slight edge, especially with Collaros just returning from injury and perhaps not at his best. Winnipeg’s rushing attack can keep them in it, but I’ll side with Hamilton as a slight underdog on the moneyline.
