Appalachian State’s offense has averaged 26.3 points per game and 422 yards of total offense. AJ Swann is their starting quarterback and he enters this game with six touchdown passes and six interceptions for the year.
Coastal Carolina had three different players throw passes in their win over UL Monroe last week. None of them were all that effective and the Chanticleers will likely not have any clearly defined answers at that position in this game either.

Appalachian State enters this game as a firm favorite for good reason. The quarterback situation for Coastal Carolina is a huge mess and that is likely to prevent them from winning this game on the road. But I am going to take the points with the Chanticleers here, as their defense should do just enough to keep this game respectable on Saturday afternoon in Boone.
