Duke’s Darian Mensah is one of the more reliable passers in college football this year. He has been both efficient and explosive through Duke's first four games and will try to continue to have success in this contest. Syracuse is in uncharted territory with its quarterback situation. With Angeli out, Collins will need to lean heavily on short drops, checkdowns, and help from the Syracuse run game. But things could work out for them if Collins adjusts quickly to his role as the starter.

I think that Syracuse will still showcase some offensive firepower even without Angeli to lead them from the quarterback position. While Duke should win the game given all of the adversity that the Orange have to overcome, I think the best bet for this matchup is for the game to go over the total. We should see these teams combine to score over 60 points here, with Duke doing the majority of the scoring in what should be a fun contest between teams looking to stay unbeaten in ACC competition.
