Fresno State is in the midst of a transition under a new head coach and quarterback and their issues on offense have led to a two-game losing streak.
One of the most significant storylines in this game is how Fresno State will respond after being shut out 23‑0 at home by the San Diego State Aztecs. That loss exposed a lack of offensive rhythm and the inability to generate meaningful progress against quality competition in the Mountain West.
