Junior quarterback Rocco Becht has thrown for 2,119 yards with 11 touchdowns and 7 interceptions this season and holds a QBR of 61.4 for Iowa State. His accuracy has dipped and he’s had some shaky outings, but the potential is there. TCU junior quarterback Josh Hoover has thrown for 2,371 yards, 22 touchdowns, and only 6 interceptions. He is consistently performing at a higher level, especially at home.

This game has all the makings of a TCU victory. With the Horned Frogs’ potent passing attack led by Josh Hoover, the Horned Frogs have the edge in quarterback play. They also have home-field advantage against an Iowa State team that hasn't won a game since the month of September. I'll lay the points with TCU in this one, as Iowa State will have to wait another week if they want to see bowl season.
