One of the biggest talking points going into this game is bowl eligibility. Arizona enters at 5‑3 and Kansas at 5‑4, so this contest would get the job done for both sides. Arizona is returning to Tucson after a two-game road trip and aims to punch that ticket and keep momentum going after a blowout win over Colorado. Kansas is looking to build on their lopsided win over Oklahoma State and prove they can deliver on the road.
Arizona signal‑caller Noah Fifita has been one of the more efficient passers in the Big 12 this season. He has thrown for 2,042 yards and 21 touchdowns with only 4 interceptions through his 8 games. He has thrown multiple games with at least 4 touchdown passes. Kansas’ defense will need to bring its best pass rush and coverage if they hope to slow him down.
