Louisville vs Miami Pick & Prediction - 10/17/2025

The Miami Hurricanes will host the Louisville Cardinals in a Friday night matchup in the ACC. Miami comes into this game ranked second in the country and is a double-digit home favorite here. Both teams come into this game off an idle week and should bring their best into this contest. Before it begins, continue reading to get my Louisville vs Miami prediction for Friday's game.
Spread | Moneyline | Total (O/U) |
|---|---|---|
Miami –13.5 | Miami –650 / Louisville +425 | 49.5 |
Miami quarterback Carson Beck has been efficient and steady in his first season with the team. He has thrown 11 touchdown passes and just three interceptions. The Hurricanes lean on a balanced attack with a competent rushing game to keep Louisville’s defense honest and that has helped Beck immensely.
Louisville's Miller Moss must be sharp under pressure and avoid mistakes against a defense of Miami’s caliber. Moss has completed just over two-thirds of his pass attempts this season but he hasn't faced a team as good as this one yet.
Score Projection: Louisville 17 – Miami 34
Win Probability: Louisville 21%, Miami 79%
Miami has looked like one of the best teams in all of college football so far this season. Louisville has a strong record early in the season, but they haven't faced a test anywhere near as stern as the one they are going to face on Friday night. I will lay the points with the Miami Hurricanes in this contest, as they should win a sixth straight game and remain in the top five in the rankings for another week.
