Oregon vs Rutgers Pick & Prediction - 10/18/2025

Oregon and Rutgers will do battle in New Jersey on Saturday night. Oregon is coming off their first loss of the season and will try to rebound quickly against Greg Schiano's Scarlet Knights. Here, I break this game down from all angles and give you my Oregon vs Rutgers prediction for Saturday's key matchup in the Big 12.
Odds | Line |
|---|---|
Spread | Oregon –17.5 |
Moneyline | Oregon –1000, Rutgers +600 |
Total | 60.5 points |
Oregon’s Dante Moore has thrown for over 1,300 yards so far this season with 15 touchdowns and three interceptions. He has also contributed on the ground and forces defenses to account for both his passing and scrambling ability.
Rutgers’ quarterback is Athan Kaliakmanis. He has thrown for 1,785 yards, 11 touchdowns, and three interceptions. While Rutgers is not as good as Oregon overall, the Scarlet Knights do have a quarterback who can keep them in games like this one.
Score Projection: Oregon 38 – Rutgers 17
Win Probability: Oregon 88%, Rutgers 12%
We should see Oregon bounce back from their first loss of the season in this game. It took a great performance from an elite Indiana team to hand Oregon their first loss of the season. I don't think that Rutgers' roster is capable of a similar showing. I'll lay the points with the Ducks in this game.
