UAB vs UConn Pick & Prediction - 11/1/2025

The UAB Blazers and UConn Huskies will meet in college football action on Saturday afternoon. The Huskies come into this game at 5-3 on the season and can secure bowl eligibility with a win here. UAB still has work to do if they want to see bowl season, but they can get back to .500 with a win here. Before kickoff from UConn, continue reading to get my UAB vs UConn prediction.
UConn quarterback Joe Fagnano has thrown for 2,262 yards with 18 passing touchdowns and zero interceptions through eight games. His efficiency and ability to limit turnovers have been major assets. UAB quarterback Jalen Kitna has thrown for 1,776 yards, 10 touchdowns, and four interceptions during his seven starts. Kitna has been one of the few bright spots for this UAB program going into this game in Connecticut.
I think that UConn is going to get the job done in convincing fashion against UAB on Saturday. The Huskies have an explosive passing game that does a nice job of avoiding turnovers will still gaining them chunks of yardage. I expect that UConn's passing game will have its way with a UAB defense that has struggled mightily on the road throughout the season. I'll lay the points with UConn, as they should find a way to lock up a bowl bid here.
