They will try to take a 2-0 series lead here, while the Blue Jays try to even the series behind a young starting pitcher. Logan Gilbert is a dependable, well-rounded righty who has had a solid 2025 season. He went 6–6 with a 3.44 ERA and 173 strikeouts in the regular season and has a 1.13 ERA in 8.0 postseason innings. His road splits are particularly strong, and he has routinely delivered quality starts.
Trey Yesavage is set to start this game for Toronto. He debuted in mid-September and has made just a handful of starts. But in his postseason debut during the ALDS, he threw 5.1 hitless innings with 11 strikeouts against the Yankees. He will try to prove that performance was no fluke in this game.
Seattle has won two straight games and are 4-2 in the playoffs thus far. The Blue Jays have gone 3-2 in the playoffs after losing the opening game of this series and beating the Yankees 3-1 in the ALDS.

The Mariners seized momentum early in this series and I don't expect them to give that momentum away here. Yesavage looked great against the Yankees in his postseason debut, but I think he will struggle in trying to sustain that in this contest. Raleigh should go deep again and the Mariners should take a 2-0 series lead on the road.
