The Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks will meet in the NBA on Tuesday night from Atlanta. Both teams currently stand at 3-4 and these division rivals will look to leap ahead of one another in the standings with a win in this contest. The Magic come into this game having won two straight road games. But those games came against the Charlotte Hornets and Washington Wizards, arguably two of the three worst teams in the NBA right now. This game will be more of a test for the Magic as they look for a third straight victory that would move them back to the .500 mark early in the season.
The Hawks are coming off a loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in their last game. Atlanta is searching for its first home win of the season in this matchup. They were beaten by the Thunder and Raptors in their only two home games of the year so far. This game will be a challenge as well, especially with their top scoring option unavailable.
Trae Young is out for the Hawks in this game due to injury. He has already missed a couple of games and his absence could hinder the offensive output for Atlanta tonight. Against a Magic team that is known for being solid on defense, the Hawks could struggle if Jalen Johnson and their role players don't step up to fill the void left by Young.

The absence of Trae Young is going to be a major problem for the Hawks tonight against a good defensive opponent. The Hawks have won two of their last three games, but those wins came against bad Nets and Pacers teams. I'll go with Orlando to come away with the win in this matchup and to cover the spread on the road, evening the season series against the Hawks along the way.
