Quarterback play will be a critical factor in this matchup. Brock Purdy's potential return could stabilize the 49ers' offense, which has been respectable with Mac Jones leading it in Purdy's absence. Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. has shown promise, leading his team to a victory over the Bills with over 250 passing yards and a touchdown. As long as Penix can avoid turning the ball over and keep finding his playmakers, the Falcons have a chance here.
