This game features two first-place teams. The Bears have surprised many with their 8–3 record under first-year head coach Ben Johnson. Chicago has won four games in a row, while the Eagles are looking to bounce back after a tight loss to Dallas that ended a four-game winning streak. The Eagles were up 21-0 on the Cowboys but were shut down in the second half to allow the Cowboys to come back.
The big question going into this game is whether or not the Eagles can bounce back from that disappointing performance against Dallas. It's one thing to lose a game like that, but to lose it in such unusual fashion could cause a team to fall apart. That isn't likely to happen with a team as talented and as physical as the Eagles, but you never know.
Chicago’s offense is led by Caleb Williams. He has thrown for 2,568 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions so far. Williams has done a good enough job of avoiding turnovers. But he will need to make enough plays to keep up with the Eagles' offense in this game.
Jalen Hurts of the Eagles has been efficient, with 2,284 passing yards, 17 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Hurts’ dual-threat ability lets the Eagles lean on both the pass and the run in big spots. He completely vanished in the second half against the Eagles, though, and will have to respond to that in this game.
Score Projection: Chicago Bears 20 – Philadelphia Eagles 30
Win Probability: Bears 26%, Eagles 74%
The Bears deserve credit for how far they've come in 2025. But this feels like a test too big for them to pass. The Eagles are dominant at Lincoln Financial Field, going 4-1 at their home field so far this year. If Philly plays clean, controls the clock, and can win in the trenches, they should win convincingly here. I'll lay the points with Philly, as they should rebound nicely from their second-half collapse against the Cowboys last week.
