The Philadelphia Eagles will host the San Francisco 49ers in the Wild Card round in the NFC playoffs. These teams have both made runs to the Super Bowl in recent seasons and one of them will move a step closer to reaching that stage with a win here. Jalen Hurts steered the Eagles to an 11–6 record while putting up solid numbers both through the air and on the ground. Hurts’ experience and resilience in big games will be critical against a tough San Francisco defense. We can also expect Hurts to get involved in short-yardage rushing situations, where his physicality is often too much for opposing defenses to handle.
The 49ers’ Brock Purdy has had an up-and-down ending to the regular season, including a shoulder stinger sustained in Week 18 that left question marks for his status ahead of the postseason. His mobility and decision-making will be tested by an Eagles front that finished the season with a strong pass rush and has proven it can beat playoff opponents.

I am going to lay the points with the Eagles on Wild Card Weekend against the Niners. Philly doesn't always look great on offense, but they have shown up when it matters most on that side of the ball. Look for the Eagles to do enough on offense and for their defense to take advantage of Purdy's injuries to cover the spread and move into the Divisional round.
