The Flyers are off to a red-hot start on home ice and will try to continue that start in this game. The Flyers have a 5‑3‑1 record this season, thanks to a dominant start on home ice. The Flyers are 5-1-0 at home this season, getting all of their wins at home thus far. The Predators bring a 4‑5‑2 record into this contest and have won just one of their first four road games of the season. The Predators are 2‑5 when underdogs of +120 or longer this year and they will try to get a win from that position here.
Philadelphia's Dan Vladar has been solid in net early in the season. He is 3-2 and has a 1.81 GAA. He is saving 93.2% of the shots he has faced and will try to improve on both of those numbers with a strong showing at home. Jusse Saros is 4-3-2 in net so far this season. He has a 2.84 GAA and has all of the goaltender wins for his team to start the year.

I am not about to bet against the Philadelphia Flyers on home ice based on what we've seen from them so far. The Flyers are playing high-level hockey at home and that should continue in this contest against a Predators team that is being outscored by almost a goal per game on average. I'll take the Flyers on the moneyline here, but I don't mind the idea of laying the puckline with them at home either.
