The Devils enter this contest reeling a bit, dropping their last three games, including an overtime loss to Washington on December 28. In that game, they surrendered a late tying goal and then the OT winner. New Jersey’s offense has been inconsistent, highlighted by a stretch where they scored two or fewer goals in five straight outings, raising questions about their ability to generate offense reliably.

I'm going to take the Leafs to win this game at home, as they have been playing better attacking hockey of late, but it's hard to feel good about either side right now.
