Arizona and Iowa State will meet in Big 12 play on Saturday night. This showdown is one of the more intriguing early Big 12 clashes this season. Arizona arrives flying high at 3-0 and with one of the stingiest defenses in the country. Iowa State rolls in at 4-0 as the conference favorite. Noah Fifita of Arizona has been remarkably clean so far. He has 712 passing yards, six touchdowns, and no interceptions. He has also added value as a runner, with three rushing touchdowns. His decision-making has been a strength for the Wildcats. Rocco Becht is a veteran presence for the Cyclones. He has 860 yards, seven touchdowns, and one interception. Becht may push the ball downfield against Arizona’s secondary. But Arizona’s defense might make life uncomfortable for him.

It will be interesting to see how Arizona handles being on the road for the first time this season. The Wildcats are 3-0 but have yet to leave Tucson. I think they will struggle to adjust to life on the road this weekend in Ames. I'll take Iowa State to win and cover the spread in this battle of undefeated Big 12 squads.
