Memphis vs UAB Pick & Prediction - 10/18/2025

Memphis and UAB will do battle in the American Athletic Conference on Saturday. The Tigers are undefeated at 6-0 on the season and they will try to maintain their spot in the top 25 with a win against a UAB team that in the midst of a coaching change. Before kickoff from Birmingham, you can get my Memphis vs UAB prediction below.
Odds | Line | Moneyline | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
Memphis | –21.5 | –2000 | Over 62.5 |
UAB | +21.5 | +1000 | Under 62.5 |
Memphis quarterback Brendon Lewis anchors an offense that can beat defenses through both the air and on the ground. Through six games, he has thrown for 1,269 yards and 8 touchdowns, while also being a threat as a runner. Memphis' offense is incredibly balanced and that should give them the upper hand in this game.
UAB's Jalen Kitna has been his team's offensive centerpiece. He leads the team in passing yards with 1,776 yards through the air. Kitna has 10 touchdown passes and four interceptions. He’s supported by receivers like Iverson Hooks and backs like Jevon Jackson. But Kitna will have to play one of his best games of his career if UAB is going to pull off an upset here.
Memphis is undefeated going into this game and I expect them to remain undefeated after this game. The Tigers should prey on the porous defense of UAB, while the Blazers' offense will struggle to move the ball through the air against a Memphis defense that is allowing just 16.2 points per game. I'll lay the points with Memphis in what should be a lopsided game in Birmingham.
