The Florida State Seminoles will host the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday at Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday night. This was supposed to be a high-stakes matchup between undefeated teams, but Florida State's upset loss against Virginia last week changed that. Instead, Miami will look for a huge road win to stay perfect, while FSU aims to avoid a second straight defeat. Here, I break down this important ACC matchup and make my Miami vs Florida State prediction for Saturday.

Carson Beck (Miami): Beck has been efficient, completing 73% of his passes for 972 yards, seven touchdowns, and three interceptions. He has looked much better this year than he did in the past at Georgia, but this will be his first road test as the quarterback of the Hurricanes.
Tommy Castellanos (Florida State): Castellanos has been explosive, throwing for 848 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions. His dual-threat capability as a runner adds an extra dimension to the Seminoles' offense. He made some breathtaking throws against Virginia, but will need help from his receivers and defense to get a win here.

Florida State got tripped up in a classic trap game against Virginia last week. But they should come ready to play against Miami this week at home. I think that Miami wins this game, but that it is going to be incredibly close. No matter who comes out on top, I recommend taking the points with Florida State in one of the biggest games of the week in college football.
