Dylan Raiola has been instrumental in Nebraska's offensive success, leading a pass-heavy attack that ranks 8th nationally in passing yards per game. Raiola has 12 touchdown passes and just two interceptions so far this year. His ability to distribute the ball effectively has kept defenses on their toes.
Maryland's Malik Washington has shown maturity beyond his years, nearly leading a game-winning drive against Washington last week. Washington has nine touchdown passes to just two interceptions for the season. He will try to elevate his team to 5-1 with a win in this contest at home.
Both of these teams have the potential to come away with a win in this matchup to get to 5-1 on the season. I give a slight edge to Nebraska here, but I think that taking the points with the Terps is the way to go here. I don't hold Maryland's loss to Washington against them too harshly, as Washington has one of the better defenses in the Big Ten. This game will be decided by a field goal in either direction and the underdog will cover the number.
