The Purdue Boilermakers will head to Ann Arbor to face the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday. Michigan enters at 6‑2 (4‑1 Big Ten) while Purdue is struggling at 2‑6 (0‑5 Big Ten) and looking for their first win in conference play. Michigan is favored by three touchdowns and they will try to keep their Big Ten title game hopes alive with a win. Michigan is attempting to solidify its position in the playoff conversation by avoiding an upset this week. The Wolverines are ranked 21st going into this game and they have three relatively manageable games ahead. This contest offers them a chance to build momentum heading into November. They still have Ohio State to worry about later in the season, but that won't matter if Michigan can't take care of business before that game.
Purdue finds itself in a rebuilding mode. The Boilermakers are winless in Big Ten play this year and have struggled mightily on defense throughout the season. The question is not necessarily whether they can win, but whether they can avoid a blowout loss and keep things respectable as a sign of any sort of progress.
Michigan freshman Bryce Underwood has thrown for 1,526 yards, seven touchdowns, and two interceptions through eight games. While he has shown flashes of talent and athleticism, his overall passing numbers place him outside the elite category so far and he has not lived up to the five-star designation he was given when recruited.
Purdue's signal‑caller is Ryan Browne. He has thrown for 1,689 yards, eight touchdowns, and seven interceptions in eight games. He leads an offense that has not been nearly good enough based on the scores we have seen from Purdue so far this season.

Win Probability: Purdue 8%, Michigan 92%
Michigan shouldn't have any problem winning this game by over 21 points. The Wolverines' defense should shut down Purdue's anemic offense, while the defense issues for Purdue will allow Underwood and the Wolverines' offense to look better than usual. Expect a bloodbath in Ann Arbor. I'll be laying the points with Michigan here.
