There’s plenty to unpack heading into this rivalry game. The Bears are leading the NFC North with a 10-4 record. They are coming off a dominant 31-3 victory over the Cleveland Browns, winning four of their last five games. Their lone loss during that stretch came against this same Packers squad and Chicago will try to exact revenge to stay on top of the division going into Week 17.
The Packers (9-4-1) come into this one reeling slightly after a loss on the road to the Denver Broncos, a game that saw star pass rusher Micah Parsons suffer a season-ending torn ACL. The absence of Parsons is a huge blow to Green Bay’s pass rush and overall defensive ceiling. That loss dropped the Packers out of first place and placed added emphasis on this divisional contest for them. If Green Bay can complete a regular-season sweep of the Bears, they can get back to the top of the NFC North before Christmas.
Caleb Williams has taken major steps in his sophomore campaign, showing poise and the ability to make plays both in and out of the pocket. His mobility gives the Bears an added dimension to their offense, particularly in short-yardage and third-down scenarios.
The Packers’ Jordan Love has been efficient and turnover-averse for the most part this season, a factor that keeps Green Bay in most games. Love’s ability to make both high-percentage throws and throws down the field has been important for the Pack and will be important again here.

I think that the Bears will be better in the key moments of this game than they were in the first matchup between these teams in Green Bay.
